Dave James Posted October 23, 2011 Report Posted October 23, 2011 (edited) All I'll say is that if you're a fan of college football and you didn't see the ending of the Wisconsin Michigan State game tonight, you're going to be kicking yourself. You just don't see this sort of thing very often. Edited October 23, 2011 by Dave James Quote
jlhoots Posted October 23, 2011 Report Posted October 23, 2011 I HATED that ending - but then I'm a Wisconsin fan!! Quote
Big Al Posted October 23, 2011 Report Posted October 23, 2011 You bet I'm kicking myself, since I watched the game-tying extra point but then switched back to the misery of the Rangers game. I already knew how that was gonna end, I shoulda left the football game on.... Quote
golfcrazy1984 Posted October 23, 2011 Report Posted October 23, 2011 I too am a Wisconsin fan, and....all I can say is I'm looking forward to the Packers wasting the Vikings this afternoon. I will say that it was an exciting game, and many swear words were used the last minute of the game Quote
alocispepraluger102 Posted October 23, 2011 Report Posted October 23, 2011 games, seasons, even careers, in sports are sometimes determined by fractions of an inch, perceptions, and camera angles. i wonder if the same play in madison would have been officiated the same. the officials made the correct call by the angles i saw. last night's ending could not have been scripted. Good point about camera angles, fractions of an inch, etc. Watching it live, I thought it was a touchdown, but then in replays I wasn't so sure. I also think the officials were biased....but whatever, as long as the Packers win this afternoon! Quote
Hot Ptah Posted October 23, 2011 Report Posted October 23, 2011 Another Badgers fan, UW-Madison grad class of 1978. Incredible ending, one of the most unusual and dramatic of all time. I didn't like it, but I can appreciate its amazing quality. Quote
PHILLYQ Posted October 23, 2011 Report Posted October 23, 2011 Crazy ending and glad I caught it. It looked to me like overtime amd I was about to tune out because I hate the way overtime is played in college games(shoetended field, no sudden death). Quote
