GA Russell Posted October 15, 2011 Report Posted October 15, 2011 Here's a slideshow of the most unpopular players for each MLB team. Other than Richie Allen and Joe Morgan (who is a surprise to me), the players are pretty recent. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/870405-most-disliked-player-in-the-history-of-every-mlb-team/page/1 Quote

If I HAD to watch the game, I HAD to mute the TV. Quote
GA Russell Posted October 16, 2011 Author Report Posted October 16, 2011 Jetman, if you read the slideshow you will see that that is all explained. Quote
BFrank Posted October 16, 2011 Report Posted October 16, 2011 Hey..........I liked Joe Morgan with Jon! Quote
Tim McG Posted October 16, 2011 Report Posted October 16, 2011 So did I. Joe Buck and Tim McCarver OTOH.... Quote
JSngry Posted October 16, 2011 Report Posted October 16, 2011 I'm still more or less ok with McCarver, but I'm really starting to think that the rumors that Joe Buck does not like baseball all that much are true. Quote
Chuck Nessa Posted October 17, 2011 Report Posted October 17, 2011 McCarver is an idiot! He's also one of the most annoying tv personalities (with Joe Morgan). Bring back Dizzy Dean! Quote
GA Russell Posted October 17, 2011 Author Report Posted October 17, 2011 (edited) When I was a boy I thought that I was a baseball fan. When NBC got the contract and used their people, I realized that I was a Dizzy Dean and Pee Wee Reese fan. Edited October 17, 2011 by GA Russell Quote
Big Al Posted October 17, 2011 Report Posted October 17, 2011 ARod deserves to be on as many lists as Milton Bradley, AFAIC. Quote
JSngry Posted October 17, 2011 Report Posted October 17, 2011 No idea what kind of a guy he really was, I but I always disliked Jack Clark just by the looks of him. Quote
Quincy Posted October 17, 2011 Report Posted October 17, 2011 No idea what kind of a guy he really was, I but I always disliked Jack Clark just by the looks of him. That's the face of a coal miner's son. He had a greater love of fast & fancy cars than he did good sense in managing money, but he said in the past he has no regrets. Quote
JSngry Posted October 17, 2011 Report Posted October 17, 2011 Nothing against coalminers or their offspring (not from me, with a wife from Boomer, WV!), but the guy just always looked mean to me, and not in a good way. Seems he's recovered financially, though, and evolved into a kind of Anthony Quinn look, so...happy endings, I hope. Quote
Quincy Posted October 17, 2011 Report Posted October 17, 2011 The show came too late for at-the-time comparisons, but he did have that Baby Gerald thing going on. Quote
