A Lark Ascending Posted April 30, 2012 Report Posted April 30, 2012 Sun out all day today - and everywhere looks gorgeous with its recent dampening. The moisture was steaming off the hedges and fields this morning. This evening all the leaves seem to have come out at once. Sadly more rain forecast. Quote
sidewinder Posted April 30, 2012 Report Posted April 30, 2012 My car doubled as a submarine on one of the local roads this morning ! Quote

Tim McG Posted May 21, 2012 Report Posted May 21, 2012 (edited) Not weather related but did any of you see the solar eclipse yesterday? It was way cool Solar Eclipse Edited May 21, 2012 by GoodSpeak Quote
The Magnificent Goldberg Posted May 21, 2012 Report Posted May 21, 2012 I didn't know there was one. Was it visible over here? Booful day today. Sat out in garden with dog at feet, book in hand. Nice. MG Oh, it was me with the book. Dog isn't interested in 19th C African history. And doesn't read too well. Or do tricks or anything except being naughty. Quote

A Lark Ascending Posted May 22, 2012 Report Posted May 22, 2012 All very strange. Lots of light blue stuff. And a big, shiny yellow ball. Quote
A Lark Ascending Posted May 22, 2012 Report Posted May 22, 2012 I know. It has magic powers. Turned my neighbour into a frog. Quote
BeBop Posted May 22, 2012 Report Posted May 22, 2012 I know. It has magic powers. Turned my neighbour into a frog. If your neighbour's gone amphibious I suspect it wasn't yellow balls in the blue sky but rather the prolonged absence of same. As for me, my second week in Seattle has turned "Seattle-normal" and I'm checking my toes for webbing. Quote
brownie Posted May 23, 2012 Report Posted May 23, 2012 Summer weather was very nice last month! Autumn weather is a drag this month! May has not been much better. But there is some hope: sunshine expected for today and for the next few days Quote
