mjzee Posted August 23, 2011 Report Posted August 23, 2011 Wonder if this is a new date or a rerelease of the Telarc (which was a wonderful record): Jim Hall & Pat Metheny - Amazon Quote
Aggie87 Posted August 23, 2011 Report Posted August 23, 2011 I'm not sure, but the same picture is on the inside of the Telarc disc's booklet. Quote
mjzee Posted August 23, 2011 Author Report Posted August 23, 2011 Hey Aggie, congrats on 10,000 posts! Quote
Aggie87 Posted August 23, 2011 Report Posted August 23, 2011 Thanks, didn't even notice that! Been a long time coming! Quote
tranemonk Posted August 23, 2011 Report Posted August 23, 2011 I'm thinking this is a just a reissue.. When Metheny signed to Nonesuch Records they claimed that they would reissue most of his catalog... They've done about half dozen reissues... Song X, Secret Story... etc.... That's why I think this is just another reissue.... Quote
CJ Shearn Posted August 26, 2011 Report Posted August 26, 2011 Every Geffen era album has been issued except Zero Tolerance For Silence, which is probably Pat's decision. Quote
mjzee Posted August 27, 2011 Author Report Posted August 27, 2011 This was originally released on Telarc (Hall's label), but the credits state (P) 1999 Metheny Group Productions, Inc. and Jim Hall, © Telarc International Corporation. I really like two of the standards on the session: All The Things You Are and Summertime. Quote
