I was only marginally interested in this, but almost a whole CD of unreleased Louis Armstrong (and a bit o' Ella) makes it far more tempting. I'll ponder this for a while.

The price is definitely on the high side, however, even for 2 CDs -- $36!

The released material is great. I bet the unreleased is excellent as well.

As for the price. . . I think that it's not that bad for a Hip-O set. It may pay to watch and wait a bit to see if there's a cheaper source. I mean you can get two freshly-released pop cds for that price and get only 1 percent of the value. :)

Wow, that's a good offer!

Just recently got both this and the Ella in Japan (same sort of packaging) in disgusting local stores for rather good prizes, too, but that beats it slightly!

Haven't started listening yet, but the packages look very nice!
