paul secor Posted July 5, 2011 Report Posted July 5, 2011 From May of 2008 : I had pretty much the same answer yesterday as I had three years ago. Guess my dancing hasn't improved. Quote
paul secor Posted July 5, 2011 Report Posted July 5, 2011 Saw a young woman dancing much like that at a wedding last year. But she seemed to be enjoying herself and that's what matters. Quote

JSngry Posted July 5, 2011 Report Posted July 5, 2011 Also Sinatra w/Basie. I think the original was Fred Astaire in some movie. How's that for irony? Quote
Dave James Posted July 5, 2011 Report Posted July 5, 2011 From the rather obscure 1935 movie, Roberta. Check out Astaire's chops on the piano. Was this guy talented or what? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e8Y1TWZ4OBI Quote

Royal Oak Posted July 8, 2011 Report Posted July 8, 2011 (edited) I can't dance for toffee, and as there are already plenty of things I don't do well, why add another? Plus, as someone else has said, I never hear anything out in public which would stir my body. That said, I have danced in nightclubs in the distant past, but drugs played their part - the bongo/conga break in Gil Scott-Heron's "The Bottle" was one I remember.
