Glad to help. :) These new OJC Remasters really do sound better than the regular OJC versions (most of which were flat transfers and sound pretty good to begin with).

If you can't afford the DCC gold versions of the Cannonball and Chet titles, for example, I think you can easily live with the sonics of these, and they're an inexpensive upgrade to the regular OJC CDs.

I've enjoyed those that I have purchased from this series and the Keepnews; I agree that they do sound better, and I may even prefer this sort of "sound" to the DCC "sound". . . .

If they reissue the Montreux '77 series that will be just kind of............ been acquiring the titles I didn't have. Those sound ok for 1989 transfers but I'm not sure if a 24 bit job can improve them as the balance and mix on some of them is out of wack.

Thanks for posting this. I pre-ordered the Ornette Coleman title as an upgrade to my old CD.

They're due out tomorrow (June 14th). Concord's website is wrong.

You know, I just got an email from Amazon saying it has shipped!
