Which jazz artist has the best website, and why you like it over others?

Not kissing up, but I do like the layout of http://www.organissimo.org/

I also like Randy Weston's website www.randyweston.info and Sonny Rollins' site, www.sonnyrollins.com

Randy's has a lot of infomation about his career. Sonny's, well I just enjoy Sonny's playing and everything by him.

Two completely nutty sites that I love:

Carla Bley's site is as bonkers as she is (and I say that with much affection): http://www.wattxtrawatt.com/

Bill Carrothers, a fine pianist who relocated some years ago to the Upper Penisula of Michigan: http://www.carrothers.com/

(take a look at the free piano lesson under "I love a piano" -- valuable stuff.

Darcy James Argue. Lots of information regarding projects, videos of live shows as well as streaming tracks, and most importantly, I can hear the music on his album. Drives me nuts when I go onto an artist site and can't hear the music or only samples (exception to that rule is when the artist links to a Bandcamp or Myspace page where they stream all their music).

Tim Collins and Jeremy Udden, also, for the streaming of their albums. Omer Avital has a ton of music to listen to, and the Anzic group also streams a lot of their stuff on Bandcamp, too.

Matana Roberts, only because I was checking it out last night prior to ordering her new CD. (Although some of the accolades can be a little over the top: "The amazing Matana Roberts," etc.)

Also Wadada Leo Smith. A more straightforward presentation, but I've enjoyed pondering his unique writings about music. The only thing that turns me off a bit -- as with any site that does this -- is that a sound clip fires up as soon as you hit the page. But he's hardly alone there.
