Larry Kart
As far as the music is concerned, Marsh's "Subconscious-Lee" should be hailed as one of the greatest captured performances on "What is this Things Called Love"-changes ever. IIRC, Warne said that was the best solo he'd ever played on those changes, which is saying something ... considering.
Son-of-a-Weizen
I think this thread has been going in circles for a while. But unlike what happened after the torpedo took out the Bismarck's rudder, leaving her to sail in one large continuous circle, no one has yet moved in for the kill? Christiern
I've published several books and I've kept all the reviews. There aren't many bad ones but they are the ones that make me laugh: in every case the reviewer has an agenda which makes no sense to anyone but him. Don't forget that Ted Brown likes All Music! It seems to me that the most common agenda among Amazon's book reviewers is to do as many as possible. It is the Scott Yanow/Leslie Gourse writing by the pound method, which serves no reader well. Hot Ptah
I think this thread has been going in circles for a while. But unlike what happened after the torpedo took out the Bismarck's rudder, leaving her to sail in one large continuous circle, no one has yet moved in for the kill? I think that this "ship" has absorbed enough pounding to sink several times, yet somehow it stays afloat--as if by a miracle!
jazzbo
The miracle is the dubious miracle of transformation into "internetish" behavior. And the hope of many to have the last word.

I agree with you but let me say just one more thing....
