Any difference from the regular boxes? "Promo" sets are full sets. The only difference is that instead of being numbered the word "promo" is written. Quote
Free For All Posted April 20, 2011 Report Posted April 20, 2011 I saw this list last night and predicted that the Basie would be the hot item. I would have gone for it but I have most of the music already. Sweet set though. Quote
aurelio Posted April 20, 2011 Report Posted April 20, 2011 PM sent on the MD5-237 Quincy Jones. Discs 1-2 open, others sealed $70 Quote

mellowT Posted April 23, 2011 Report Posted April 23, 2011 If you don't mind me asking, how did you happen to score so many promo sets from Mosaic? Quote
J.A.W. Posted April 23, 2011 Report Posted April 23, 2011 If you don't mind me asking, how did you happen to score so many promo sets from Mosaic? I was wondering about that too. Quote

Larry Kart Posted April 24, 2011 Report Posted April 24, 2011 If you don't mind me asking, how did you happen to score so many promo sets from Mosaic? Please answer this seemingly reasonable question, Mr. Peccary. Failure to do so makes one suspicious. Quote

Please answer this seemingly reasonable question, Mr. Peccary. Failure to do so makes one suspicious. Suspicious? You're killing me. I spent many years as a journalist and collector. Moving along some sets that I don't/haven't listened to in order to get a Martin guitar. Something that I will enjoy on a much more regular basis. Quote

So you were sent these sets by Mosaic in the expectation/hope that, as a journalist, you would review/write about them? If my figures are correct, thirty-one of the thirty-eight sets you are offering for sale here are SEALED. Quote
