Which is the best /most complete Benny Goodman Live 1938 Carnegie Hal

Not sure which one to buy.I have read that some versions have cut solos and songs.Can anyone comment on the version or edition they like the best?

I'm one of the few people in the world it seems who likes the Columbia remastered version and hasn't investigated ones released since.

While I usually agree with Lon, I strongly suggest that you totally skip the reissue produced by Phil Schaap. It is unworthy of Goodman, Columbia, and good ears.

If you're interested in completeness the Columbia has a cut of chairs being shuffled around. But the sound stinks on several numbers. Best sound I've heard is the "Definitive" release. An earlier discussion I read somewhere (here?) suggested that all releases are missing a number or part of one number.

Having re-read that thread I'm still not clear: Do any cds have the 27 missing seconds? Or are the Avid, Jasmine and Definitive releases all taken from the Schaap?
