I'm in Canada where there are a lot more Lonehills available and I see one that has pee wee plays along with

Portrait of PW. I already own the latter. Given that I love Pee Wee and they claim it's the first cd

Release of. "plays" is this worth getting at a fairly high price ? Btw who owns the rights to the Dot label nowadays ?

I think Pee Wee Russell Plays Pee Wee Russell is one of his BEST. It's worth having, I assure you. And it sounds pretty darned good in this Spanish edition.

You're right - there have been a few, too few reissues of Dot albums by Universal.

I think a box set of Russells sessions from the mid 1950's until his death would be nice ...

Pee Wee Plays is pretty great but I like Portrait (which I already had) even more.

If I'm not mistaken "Portrait of Pee Wee" is included on "Swingin' With Pee Wee."
