Peter A Posted October 9, 2006 Report Posted October 9, 2006 I think i know the guy too. A BN completist. I know you know him too. It was you who gave me his e-mail adress a couple of years ago (remember?). The guy gave me a lot of information about first pressings. Quote
brownie Posted October 13, 2006 Report Posted October 13, 2006 Griffin BN are hot! 'The Congregation' reached $1,182 a few days ago, now it's 'Introducing' 's turn $1,370 Quote
michel1969 Posted October 13, 2006 Report Posted October 13, 2006 This one was perfect (as many of jazz5060's record) and i thought it would reach an even higher price. Some copies have sold for 1800 in the past. Another gem en route to the rising sun country... When THEY will all have a copy of this one, price will going down ? I'll stick with my VG+ copy..... -_- Quote
clifford_thornton Posted October 14, 2006 Report Posted October 14, 2006 Yeah, it looks real nice. I suspect the Griff Blowing Session up there now will be doing some damage as well... it's already at about $900! Quote
brownie Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 More BN over 1K KF Afro-Cuban Blowing In From Chicago Quote
clifford_thornton Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 That Jordan/Gilmore has gone for over $2K before... Quote
michel1969 Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 That Jordan/Gilmore has gone for over $2K before... Yes : that's what i say : after a brutal take off, those NM "heavies" have found their cruse altitude on Ebay : between 1000 and 1500 $. Of course its very high price, but I think they will not reach 2000 $ like in previous auctions. Anyway, the two have been purcahsed by a japanese dealer... You can imagine the resell price.... Roundagain, the seller, is a very honest, reliable seller and a nice person. He deserves his success. Quote
sidewinder Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 (edited) That Jordan/Gilmore has gone for over $2K before... Bl**dy crazy ! I'd stick with the King and splurge on 30-40 Mosaics and some top class gigs with the change. Edited October 17, 2006 by sidewinder Quote

This man owns a neat little record store in Providence, 20 minutes from where I live. I bought some records from him in the past. Quote

clifford_thornton Posted November 7, 2006 Report Posted November 7, 2006 Looks like the jackass who set his high bid at a grand wasn't expecting someone to snipe $933.33! Ouch! Quote
