GA Russell Posted December 27, 2010 Report Posted December 27, 2010 Roll call! I'm taking the week off. Who else? Quote
vajerzy Posted December 27, 2010 Report Posted December 27, 2010 Just 2 days- I like saving my vacation days for spring/summer/fall events. Quote
Van Basten II Posted December 27, 2010 Report Posted December 27, 2010 Same than vajerzy, will go back to work wednesday and thursday. Quote
AllenLowe Posted December 27, 2010 Report Posted December 27, 2010 a few days - I go back to work Wednesday and I'm sure the stress of accumulated work will negate the positive effects of the days off. That's my America. Quote

JSngry Posted December 27, 2010 Report Posted December 27, 2010 Might as well be off, nothing is going on, but am not. Quote
papsrus Posted December 27, 2010 Report Posted December 27, 2010 Not taking time off. Actually working an extra day this week due to others taking time off. Second year in a row I'll have worked on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve AND New Year's Day. (And for those who recall, I was just coming off the Injured Reserve list heading into the holidays last year. Oh woe is me. ... quite happy to have a job I love, though. Otherwise I might complain. Patrick Posted December 28, 2010 Report Posted December 28, 2010 Me too. Going to a couple of theater performances with college friends, and generally chilling out (so to speak). Quote

jazzbo Posted December 28, 2010 Report Posted December 28, 2010 (edited) Congrats! I only made it 2 and a half years. . . . I feel a real need for work. Looking forward to returning to the workforce. Now I'm just hoping we don't have bad winter storms and I can two-wheel to work safely and dependably. Edited December 28, 2010 by jazzbo Quote

medjuck Posted December 28, 2010 Report Posted December 28, 2010 We closed the office on the 22nd. Going back on the 3rd. HOwever have had a couple of e-mails re: work. Quote
mellowT Posted December 28, 2010 Report Posted December 28, 2010 My company always shuts down between Christmas and New Years. It replaces all the smaller holidays we don't get during the year (MLK, President's, Cesar Chavez, Columbus, Veteran's). Back to work on the 3rd. Quote

Neal Pomea Posted December 29, 2010 Report Posted December 29, 2010 Gotta do some teleworking, but not so bad that I can't relax everyday and have a lot of fun. And this year I made 'em pay me, whereas last year I was a sucker and fell for their desperate line "it's just a one time deal, so be a good sport!" It's un-rich folks like me who keep alive "noblesse oblige," I guess. Quote
