Dan Gould Posted December 21, 2010 Report Posted December 21, 2010 So, just because the band broke up, Jim shouldn't be concerned with how this board reflects on them anymore? HIs closing the thread had nothing to do with political correctness. Quote

HIs closing the thread had nothing to do with political correctness. They haven't completely broken up - Jim's comment on the main page of the site: "In other news, we regrettably had to say farewell to guitarist Joe Gloss this summer. Joe is moving on to a new stage in his life and we wish him all the best. He's very happy in his new endeavor and that's all that matters. After some soul-searching, Randy and I have decided to forge ahead with a new guitarist, Ralph Tope. Check our schedule for some new dates. Whether we'll record a CD with this configuration remains to be seen; I am very busy due to my gig with Janiva Magness, but who knows what the future holds?" They're got upcoming shows in both Michigan and Indiana, as we speak. Quote

Swinging Swede Posted January 8, 2011 Report Posted January 8, 2011 FWIW, I thought it was funny. But then I like puns and how you can play with words that can mean different things. Perhaps there is a Scandinavian bent to it, where the same word can mean quite different things in Swedish/Danish/Norwegian, but you sometimes have that in American and British English as well. Anyway, it somehow reminded me of this YouTube classic: Quote
