Well, not quite.

Woke up at 3.00 am this morning to a 30 interview with John Lydon. Back in '76 he really was the 'Antichrist' to me as my prog-rock world got trashed, but really warmed to him on this.

Programme was followed by an interview with Manfred Eicher about ECM.

Can't find a link to the Lydon but the Eicher is on the BBC iPlayer at present:

'The Strand' is actually a very good, eclectic music programme worth keeping an eye on.

I don't think so.

In the World Service one he talks a fair bit about his difficult childhood and the impact of menengitis on him.

He's currently advertising butter on UK TV!!!!!!!!

Well, actually, it was last broadcast on October 10 of this year

and the post is from November 13, but it's still a recent broadcast.

BBC is saying that it'll be re-broadcast on New Year's Day at 03:00.

Maybe last night's program will show up later sometime - would like to hear it.

Heard about the butter ads - still funny!

...and the comment! - "God saves the Queen the fascist margarine." -

He got up to lots of trouble on that TV 'Jungle' show - messing up the toilets etc with all the women complaining about it. Some things don't change !

He made a comment about how he and his wife don't do dusting!
