SGUD missile Posted December 24, 2003 Report Posted December 24, 2003 I saw on another list that the Great Woody Herman Drummer of the late 40s Second Herd, Don Lamond died at a nursing facility in Florida ,where he'd live and worked for many years prior to his death. He was 83 Thats really bad news ..Don was one of my early influences and a drummer and I find it great that he was still able to perfom in FL as long as did .. an other great one gone ..RIP, Don Phil Kelly Quote
