Jim Alfredson
RIAA reports kill ratio up over last quarter: A RIAA legal execution squad raided a small house in rural Pennsylvania today, neutralizing four file traders: a man, a woman, a boy and a baby girl. It is unknown if the swappers were related. Early reports indicate that occupants of the house e-mailed an mp3 called "firstwords.mp3" torelatives. The RIAA legal squad believed the file was a pre-release version of a single by Eminem. After the execution, it became clear that the file actually contained the baby's first words. An RIAA spokesperson stated that while trading copyrighted works on the internet is wrong, the deaths were regrettable and an unfortunate consequence of the worldwide fight against illegal file swappers. A memorial service for the swappers isscheduled to take place Thursday. It's satire... don't worry.... yet....

chris olivarez
I'd laugh but working in radio you get "acquainted" with the RIAA and part of me can't help but feel that if they could handle things this way they would. To know them is not to love them.
