Agreed. I paid more too. Don't know how much, but it's very good. There are the ultraphone sessions (some of the first recordings he did), different airchecks (one with a US Air Force band) and more.

Thanks for that - I have some of this material on compilation and it is damn good. Certainly more cost effective than the previous German issue Doldinger set.

This looks suspicious. The picture shows the long box and track listing as 5 disks, but the "Product Details" say this:

My experience with Amazon is to trust the track listing.  Also, Amazon always will quickly make anything right.  Customer service is incredible.

I'm sure Amazon would take a return, if it's not right. It's just that the price point is common for the 2-disk set, not the box.

Saw a used Nat King Cole Mosaic CD box set. About $275  (if you buy it at the store, which includes the sales tax)  Not sure how they handle the price on mail orders outside the state.  (sticker is about $251).  Give them a call.  Pretty sure they do mail orders.  I didn't inspect the CDs or box.  Talk to them.  I would assume it's in decent shape.

Placed my pre-order last week.  Contains stereo and mono of first two albums, stereo of "Last Time Around".  Neil Young says that the sound is spectacular on these, and he has not disappointed on the remasters of his own work.
