Teasing the Korean Posted August 28, 2011 Report Posted August 28, 2011 I have the 70s vinyl reissue of this. It was my first Herbie Nichols album. It's mono but it's out of phase. I wonder if it was mastered from vinyl and they didn't bother to do a mono transfer. Quote

What I mean is it sounds like at some point in the chain, stereo signals were used (to transfer the mono) and they got out of phase.
