That's great! Just as we were going to get on XM with Groovadelphia, they merged with Sirius and the station (and DJ) we were going to be on got axed. Nice to hear we're finally getting some airplay. I bet it won't show up on ASCAP.

I heard another track from the album on Sirius this afternoon at about 3:20! This one was Jimmy Smith Goes to Washington.

Girl friend heard "Jimmy Smith Goes To Washington" on FX early this week while driving to work.. Said it was from the live CD.

I heard Jimmy Smith Goes to Washington on Sirius again today.

What may be noteworthy is that this time it was at 5:20 in the evening. The disc jockey didn't come on while I was in the car, but that's Mark Ruffin's time slot. The previous times I've heard the band were during Ulys Cathy's (sp?) show.

Ruffin is the program director. I don't know to what extent he programs the music on other guys' shows.

It keeps getting better. This afternoon Larry Willis was guest-hosting for Mark Ruffin, and after a long set I heard him say (at about 4:40 pm) "...and before that, the band that is the wonderful blend of jazz and fusion, Organissimo!"

So guys, Larry Willis knows about you!

Honest to Goodness, I haven't heard a song so often on Sirius ever! Second place would be Blossom from Sonny Rollins' last album.

Mark Ruffin who programs the Sirius / XM Jazz Channel would have gotten the CD from both me and Terri Hinte - can take a while for a CD to get in the system but once it's in, it's in for a while too - up to people who subscribe to let us when "airplay" has kicked in though since that's hard to pin down...Mitchell
