tjluke68 Posted October 13, 2010 Report Posted October 13, 2010 I'll be adding a thread to sell CDs soon as well and it's for shelf space/dis-interest reasons as well. Mostly jazz stuff that I have bought in haste or thought would be better than it was and some alt rock, etc stuff that I just don't listen to anymore... Quote
Daniel A Posted October 13, 2010 Report Posted October 13, 2010 (edited) I've got a fair bit of CD:s that I really don't need (jazz and classical), but it's not worth it going through the trouble to (try and) sell them. There is no domestic equivalent to Amazon marketplace here and the CD stores are so picky they won't even bother with many major names. As for buying CD:s I nearly stopped two years ago for many different reasons and haven't really gotten into it again. I'm holding on to my favourites, but buying new CD:s somehow has begun to feel as exciting as buying pre-recorded cassettes did 20 years ago. Edited October 13, 2010 by Daniel A Quote

ejp626 Posted October 19, 2010 Report Posted October 19, 2010 It definitely seems a lot slower in terms of sales and trades than last year. As far as my stuff, if it isn't moving, it doesn't help me clear those shelves, so it's going to have to go to half.com or to the local stores. Quote
