I recall reading some of your comments in his New History of Jazz - same interview/s?

This comes at a good time for me. I'd just been re-listening to Birdhouse (the exceptional first track made it into the program) and the Vintage Duets with Steve McCall, which weren't in there but still fare well, to my ears.
