Van Basten II Posted October 6, 2010 Report Posted October 6, 2010 Is that normal I ended up with a file asking to be recorded instead of a web page ? Are we talking about the Complete Mother best recordings ? If that is it, me want it . Quote
J.A.W. Posted October 6, 2010 Report Posted October 6, 2010 I'm getting nothing but a black screen... Quote
medjuck Posted October 6, 2010 Report Posted October 6, 2010 (edited) I saw and heard it. What exactly is this and is it available. (I have the two box sets of selections from the shows. I presume they're duplicated here.) I think it would be great if it actually was some sort of playback machine with the shows on a memory stick. Edited October 6, 2010 by medjuck Quote
Quincy Posted October 6, 2010 Report Posted October 6, 2010 It's a movie of someone opening up the Mother's Best set that comes with a cathedral radio that plays selections from the set. It looks like this: Get it here. Quote
medjuck Posted October 7, 2010 Report Posted October 7, 2010 Sounds good. Unfortunately I already have 6 cds of music from this material. Now if Time-Life would take them in trade......i Quote
Neal Pomea Posted October 8, 2010 Report Posted October 8, 2010 (edited) Comes with a complete set of lovely Roseann glassware! (Remember when you used to actually get a free glass in a box of Lux detergent?) Commercials for chick starter and twice cleaned flour! Recipes tested by Mother's Best home economists! No, well hey. The commercials and banter with Cousin Louie Buck alone are great to hear. I have heard them. Hope they're included in this set. The Health and Happiness cds are terribly cold without that kind of context, IMO. Edited October 8, 2010 by It Should be You Quote
Quincy Posted October 8, 2010 Report Posted October 8, 2010 It took me awhile to realize they were saying bakin' and not bacon. And I grew up around accents like that! Quote
Van Basten II Posted October 28, 2011 Report Posted October 28, 2011 On Pop Market available for about 122 $ Quote
Van Basten II Posted December 25, 2011 Report Posted December 25, 2011 Started listening to them, very interesting indeed, feels like I'm in a time machine, on the other hand Audrey Williams singing Quote
Pete C Posted December 25, 2011 Report Posted December 25, 2011 Just think of Audrey as Hank's Yoko. Quote
AllenLowe Posted December 25, 2011 Report Posted December 25, 2011 more like Hank's yoyo. Same thing I guess. Quote
