Brennan JB7 CD Player+Hard Disc

Has anyone any experience of this product? It appears to be a CD player with a Hard Disc that can store up to 5000CDs - or 500 if no compression is used. It can be bought with its own speakers or used in conjunction with one's own gear. Seems to sell for about 400 quid.

This has been heavily advertised in the UK music press for the last year or so...I get a bit weary of seeing it.

$735 for a CD player with a 500GB hard drive?

And you need to buy an external hard drive for backup.

Of course, if I'm a teenager again, I'll get my parents to buy it for me.
