mjzee Posted September 5, 2010 Report Posted September 5, 2010 Yes, a lot of fun. And a good indicator of where art on the Web is going. Quote
Dan Gould Posted September 6, 2010 Report Posted September 6, 2010 Didn't work for me but it did inspire me to go to Bing and find my old neighborhood on Long Island where I grew up. Remarkable to see what it looks like (not a single house hasn't been torn down and re-built) and then find, on the vaguest of memories, my way to the Long Island RR stop my father took into Manhattan, then two little league fields (at one of which I slipped on one of those metal fences and nearly killed myself when the wire sliced into my neck), then the high school where I practiced my pitching off the brick wall while my father and brother played tennis, and the name and location of two other summer haunts, Christopher Morley Park and Old Westbury Gardens and Mansion. "... The memories will be so thick they'll have to brush them away from their faces." Quote
