I´m looking for these RCA/Bluebird Fats Waller sets which are, as far as I know, OOP:

-Breaking the ice: The early years Part 1 (34-35) 2CD set GOT IT

-I´m gonna sit right down: The early years Part 2 (35-36) 2CD set GOT IT

-Fractious fingering: The early years Part 3 (36) 2CD set STILL ON SEARCH OF IT

-The middle years Part 1 (36-38) 3CD set GOT IT

-A good man is hard to find: The middle years Part 2 (38-40) 3CD set GOT IT

I´d buy them or we could swap CDs (let me know what you´re interested in).

Any help/information would be very appreciated.

BMG music club has The middle years Part 1 (36-38) 3CD set listed for 12.79. Here's the link (I'm not sure it'll work):

Waller

I lurked through their site and couldn´t find if they offer outside the USA. I´m afraid they don´t.

Thanks for your interest!

Well, I didn't want you to see me as the first post, get you hopes up, only to find I didn't have anything to offer, but I will now post!

Anyway, what I was going to say is that usually, there are several RCA sets on ebay, but when I checked last night, not a one! :o

Just had a thought.....I get them every once in a while...Checked on amazon, and there are a few up there used! Not everyone ships international on amazon, but some do...check there feedback as well, don't want you mad at me! Some look fairly good, but you check comments to them, and it looks terrible!

Oops! Ah yes, sorry about that...I should've checked your address first!

Hello EKE BBB,

Djangos.com currently has one of these title in stock:

Fats Waller & His Rhythm: Fats Waller and His Rhythm: The Middle Years, Part 1 (1936-1938)

http://www.djangomusic.com/item_music.asp?id=R+++158517&dt=0

They are a used record chain out of Portland, OR and overall a pretty good online source for used music. Over the years I have managed to snag Mobley's A Slice Off The Top and Bergonzi'sStandard Gonz for good prices. Though, like a lot of stores, they sometimes charge a bit too much for certain cds.

They do ship internationally.

Check this link for more info and prices:

I put all these sets on the notification list at Django's - result: they get a set of the "Middle Years Pt. 1" about once a week. None other, though, except maybe the "Last Years", but I think that one did only show up once since I put all of these on my list some months ago... SHIT!

Why not look for CDR offers? (hint, hint) - we could sure manage an united european exchange...

I have extras of these four sets. (SEALED)

The first three are BMG club issues, the last set is a cut-out. All are sealed.
