Cliff Englewood Posted August 24, 2010 Report Posted August 24, 2010 Have it BOTH ways: Burger King's 2,500 calorie answer to that age-old take-away dilemma - pizza or burgers? Quote
GA Russell Posted August 24, 2010 Report Posted August 24, 2010 I'd like to try a couple of slices! Quote
Jazzmoose Posted August 25, 2010 Report Posted August 25, 2010 Wow. I must be getting old; that just sounds disgusting to me. Quote
JSngry Posted August 25, 2010 Report Posted August 25, 2010 Not nearly as much as this: Restaurant chain Denny's updated its value menu with the Fried Cheese Melt, a sandwich made with "four fried mozzarella sticks and melted American cheese grilled between two slices of sourdough bread." Priced at a reasonable $4, it's served with french fries and a side of marinara sauce. Deep-fried cheese sticks inside a pan-fried grilled cheese sandwich! Is that maybe sort of appetizing? Well it does clock in at 895 calories, so it does have that going for it. Quote
papsrus Posted August 25, 2010 Report Posted August 25, 2010 More and more these days, I'm less and less into red meat. Especially of the fast-food variety. Shit, of the any restaurant variety. When it comes right down to it, I don't really trust the food industry in general any more. .... pass the nuts .... Quote
kinuta Posted August 25, 2010 Report Posted August 25, 2010 I must be getting old too. Beats me how anybody could eat that lethal crap. Quote
Cliff Englewood Posted August 25, 2010 Author Report Posted August 25, 2010 It's like the fast-food companies are having these kinda marketing/production meetings and saying "well sure, we're killing people, but couldn't we kill them, y'know, faster?" :g Quote
paul secor Posted August 25, 2010 Report Posted August 25, 2010 Probably p.i., but the people who eat this shit - and they are legion in the U.S. - are costing billions in health care. The fast food industry is lucky that I'm not a dictator in charge of everything. I'd shut them down today. Quote

Cliff Englewood Posted August 27, 2010 Author Report Posted August 27, 2010 I don't know why I'm only thinking of this now but, who cut the cheese? Quote
