Yes, no bulk download w/o $$$, but parallel downloads worked for me. MediaFire is a kind of sucky file host.

Just started listening... For those of you "put off" by the Avant-Garde I'd still give this BFT a try. First tracks are far from avant/free, FWIW.

Yeah, that was my intent. Bill, you might have a few of these. I had to go CD-only because of some wiring problems with my tonearm that developed recently.

I'm sorry, but this DL is by far the most annoying I've ever dealt with. I'm on track 12 and I'm getting more pop-ups than even Firefox can handle.

Shit, I'm sorry to hear that. I can try another method later tonight and see how it goes. On my end I've experienced no problems but... that's obviously different from your end.

Track #9 downloaded fine for me. Listening to it right now... The comments regarding pop-ups, etc. remind me of why I called MediaFire a kind of sucky filehost, as are most of the "mainstream" ones that most folks are familiar with, for one reason or another (annoying ads, long wait times between downloads, corrupted files, seemingly random deletion of files...)

In a bit I'll post some links to alternatives that have worked for me in the past. So many of these hosts want you to pay for premium membership to get all the bells and whistles. Or, perhaps I should say, to get ANYTHING to work correctly.
