brownie Posted June 2, 2010 Report Posted June 2, 2010 (edited) I have seen the video several times since yesterday when it showed up on youtube and cannot make up my mind for sure! Did Fabian Cancellara use a motor-powered bicycle to win the Tour of Flandres and Paris-Roubaix cycling classic this year? The controversy is growing. The video on youtube! Cancellara has a pretty good reputation so far. Can't say the same about his team coach Bjarne Riis... Cancellara has denied any wrongdoing but we have heard that before from other cycling champs! The accelerations by Candellara on the video are more than stunning! Also why did he have to change bikes not very far from the finish lines of both races? No proper explanations yet for the changes which surprised viewers at the time! At least no doping accusations so far... Edited June 2, 2010 by brownie Quote
Cliff Englewood Posted June 2, 2010 Report Posted June 2, 2010 That's amazing, I had no idea you could do something like that. The second clip is the more obvious one, where he's going up the hill, there is no way you can accelerate that much going up a hill while sitting down. Still I kinda want a bike like that, it would be fun to fuck with motorists heads as you keep up with them. Quote

You can see the second rider is really struggling to get up the hill and has to raise off his seat, while Cancellara just cruises on by him and up the hill like it's nothing. I don't follow cycling so I don't really know what is possible but to me it looks like something gave this guy a boost. Quote
rockefeller center Posted December 15, 2012 Report Posted December 15, 2012 That's not even a bad joke. Come on. Quote
