There was some discussion about the Centennial box-sets (three editions... the Fremeaux will be three boxes in itself in the end, the third isn't out yet, I think) here:

If you do a search you should also find various threads on JSP sets, the Mosaic, the Jazz in Paris discs (seven, also collected in a box set).

Depending on how complete you want your collection to be... I have the Jazz in Paris discs, the Mosaic, and some more stray stuff, but I guess I'll get the Fremeaux boxes, eventually!

I love my Mosaic set. If you want to 'go deep', it's a real treat. But it is a 'deep' reach into the wallet.

I like my JSP Django box sets. It's hard to go wrong with them. The sound is good, they're readily available and very affordable. I have two of them totaling 9 discs which is all the Django that I really need.
