What's your take on Geri ?

Just picked up Maroons - very impressed all over again, I must dig out my other GA discs.

Any recommendations regarding her more recent recordings. Of these three Vanguard gets the nod from me.

I'm a big Geri Allen fan. It took a while, but I've learned to like her two most recent Telarc recordings.

Great one indeed; I was lukcy enough to find a copy of it.

Geri added some tasty acoustic piano solo (and less memorable synth) to the early Steve Coleman and Five Elements.

Count me in as another big fan of Ms. Allen. Her recent Flying Toward the Sound solo piano disc on Motema is superb.
