Sky Posted May 13, 2010 Report Posted May 13, 2010 Wondering if anyone has published charts or transcriptions for Bleeker and Groovedelphia. I would love to play some of these wonderful compositions with a band I am in, and yes I can figure out most of the music, but it would be a great time saver if someone has already done this. I don't really want sheet music, just charts with scales. Any suggestions? Quote
Joe G Posted May 13, 2010 Report Posted May 13, 2010 No one has done any charts to my knowledge, but if you have any questions about particular passages, I'd be happy to help out. Those two tunes in particular are pretty straightforward; I think both are all dominant 7th chords from start to finish. I'm glad you're enjoying the music enough to dig into it as a player. Quote
Sky Posted May 13, 2010 Author Report Posted May 13, 2010 Joe G Your help would be most appreciated. I will go through the tunes tonight and write a description of the passages I am having difficulty with. With Groovedelphia, it's the changes in the bridges, and some of the wonderful keyboard chord substitution. Again, I'll try and be more specific tonight. What's not to love about this music, and playing it (or attempting anyway) is great fun! Quote
