Teasing the Korean Posted April 25, 2010 Report Posted April 25, 2010 Not long now before we hit the million mark! Let's get busy folks.. And that's one million posts in the "What Vinyl Are You Spinning" thread alone! Quote
Chuck Nessa Posted April 25, 2010 Report Posted April 25, 2010 Just wait 'til I have some new cds. Quote
Chuck Nessa Posted April 25, 2010 Report Posted April 25, 2010 I like fried spam and american cheese sandwiches on wheat bread. Gotta drink a quart of fruit juice with it to feel ok. Quote
Jazzmoose Posted April 26, 2010 Report Posted April 26, 2010 You know, we were able to totally destroy the Blue Note board in short order; I don't think we're really trying... Quote
JSngry Posted April 27, 2010 Report Posted April 27, 2010 don't make me have to tell all you little tater-bitches where the good goozey coo is when you'll needs it. Quote

Van Basten II Posted April 28, 2010 Report Posted April 28, 2010 So, are we getting closer, can we have a countdown ? Quote
BeBop Posted June 13, 2010 Report Posted June 13, 2010 19,875. (On one of the other boards where I hang out, they have threads like "Count Up to 10,000". Now that's good for the total post count, eh?) Quote
Bill Nelson Posted June 13, 2010 Report Posted June 13, 2010 Not long now before we hit the million mark! Let's get busy folks.. And that's one million posts in the "What Vinyl Are You Spinning" thread alone! And all the other control freak questions running right now in 5 of 17 topic areas: "What classical music are you..." "What live music are you..." "Which Mosaic are you..." "What are you listening to..." "What vinyl are you..." For all you duty-bound dependents, let me add: "When will you stop picking your nose?" "You're not going out looking like THAT, are you?" Quote
Bill Nelson Posted June 14, 2010 Report Posted June 14, 2010 The Question Inquisition continued: "What music did you buy today?" Sounds like my wife when get home from Atlanta. right up there with, "Why do you slouch at the dining table?" Let me wrap this in my best Peter Lorre voice: "Nothing but questions ... all these questions!" Not even the SH site routinely hammers its members with such mundane queries. Quote
Hardbopjazz Posted June 19, 2010 Report Posted June 19, 2010 (edited) I am guessing by the end of July the board will reach 1 Million posts. Edited June 19, 2010 by Hardbopjazz Quote
ghost of miles Posted June 19, 2010 Report Posted June 19, 2010 Even sooner if we revive the "Stupid Questions" thread! Quote
gmonahan Posted July 1, 2010 Report Posted July 1, 2010 Even sooner if we revive the "Stupid Questions" thread! Or start another thread on Wynton. THAT would do it! gregmo Quote
bertrand Posted July 2, 2010 Report Posted July 2, 2010 Easy enough - did you know that NEA awarded the Jazz Masters' award to not one, not two, not three, not four but all five Marsali? Orrin Keepnews was also in the mix. It was the worst day of Christiern's life. Bertrand. Quote
Bill Nelson Posted July 2, 2010 Report Posted July 2, 2010 In describing an upcoming piano trio club date, a New Yorker scribe put it, "Ellis Marsalis is perhaps best known for his work with Mrs. Marsalis." Quote

paul secor Posted July 29, 2010 Report Posted July 29, 2010 (edited) Less than 10,000 posts to go to hit a million. Who would have thunk it seven years ago? Edited July 29, 2010 by paul secor Quote
ajf67 Posted July 29, 2010 Report Posted July 29, 2010 (edited) Well, this is a great site so I'm glad it's been around for close to a million posts. And I'm very guilty of posting in the "What Vinyl Are You Spinning Now?" thread, but I like that because I often see things others are playing that I haven't dug out in a while and bring them back out. ghost of miles Posted July 29, 2010 Report Posted July 29, 2010 Then there's always the endless-loop "What thread are you posting in right now?" thread. Quote
