Guest
← Slap a bottom head on that rack tom boy! What you tryin' to do choke the thing to death? Playing without bottom heads is so 70's. ← ANSWER #1 - I was unaware that sound/resonance/attack had expiration dates... #2 - congas, djembe, bongos, timbales, ashiko, cans, tambourine... #3 - trumpet with Harmon, trumpet without Harmon... #4 - 1 head is cheaper than 2... #5 - Duke Ellington said that a drum is a woman...the last thing I would want is a woman with 2 heads...HA! #6 - Does that 1-headed drumkit make me look fat? But since I always aim to please, that's only one drumkit...another kit has EVANS bottom heads with EVANS tops, another has calf-skins, another has AQUARIANS with REMO bottom heads, another set has top/bottom heads of the family combo-variety pak : EVANS, AQUARIAN,REMO, SONOR! Guest
You've never herd Gerard play, have you... ← One of the lucky, huh?... Jim's use of the word "herd", instead of the more appropriate "heard", is a subtle reference to the fact that even tho cows make a sound when you smack them with a stick, it may not always be what the dancers wanna hear.
