Chuck Nessa
The Jazz Journalist's Association has nominated Saga of the Outlaws (along with a bunch of Mosaics) for reissue of the year. In addition, there's a piece about my work in the current issue of Jazziz. If you spend some time on their site, you can find the story on page 18 of the current online issue. Matthew
Congratulations Chuck! Saga of the Outlaws for me, is the reissue of the year, important music that needs to be heard.

jostber
Was just looking at the "Saga Of The Outlaws" CD over at DustyGroove just before I saw this. http://www.dustygroove.com/item.php?id=jd5983rgv8&ref=browse.php&refQ=incl_oos%3D1%26amp%3Bincl_cs%3D1%26amp%3Bkwfilter%3Dsaga%2B
David Ayers
A welcome return for an LP that seemed a thing of the past. Come on, uh, jazz-journalist-type-people, try to get this one right... I bought the LP back in the day after I read about it in John Litweiler's book (uh, John, that book cost me a lot of money). I don't think I ever saw it again over here so maybe it was rare outisde the US. Did the LP sell well? Maybe the CD will sell better than the original? JSngry
Nessa records are being discussed in Jazziz? This is either the true dawning of the Age Of Aquarius or else the definitive sign that the End Times have begun. Either way, the attention is more than deserved & almost surrealistically overdue. Congrats, & carpe diem!
Chuck Nessa
This surprised me too but a couple issues back they had a nice feature on Wadada. That issue can be read online too.
Joe G
I don't know which is more surprising - that Jazziz is writing about Nessa Records, or that Jazziz is still being published! Glad your work is getting some notice, either way~!

medjuck
Chuck: This information may be readily available but I can't find it: What cds does Nessa Records have in print and for sale from you? Is there a list somewhere?
