Our own Frank Kimbrough has a new album out called Rumors. I listened to it last night at lala, and really enjoyed it.

It reminds me of Paul Bley. The new Paul Motian album Frank likes so much also reminds me of Paul Bley, so I guess what Motian's group was doing was right up Frank's alley.

I hadn't looked up Frank at lala before, and now I see that he has 12 albums there. I've got a lot of listening ahead of me.

Congratulations Frank!

I'm disappointed - I thought this thread was going to be about some secret about Frank.

I guess it's enough that he's such a good pianist. Still, I was thinking National Inquirer.

Hey Frank! Looks like you'll be playing at The Falcon in Marlboro, NY on Saturday May 28. I hope to get the opportunity to see you perform. Maybe say hello. It's a real nice venue. :tup

Frank,

This is beautiful. You can tell that you have had this band together for a while and you all really listen to each other in the improvisations.

It's a gem. Well done.
