The 21,46 euros is not the real cost for the set shipped to the us. At least amazon.fr and amazon.uk have VATs built into the initial price that you see. That price is not adjusted until further along in the ordering process when you identify that you want the item shipped to the U.S. Then the price of the box is adjusted. In this case, down to 17.94. But, then you have shipping. For this one box, that shipping cost will be 8.50 euros delivered to my house in New York. My total cost for the Douglas box set is 26.44 euros or $35.67 converted by amazon.fr. Or about $7.00 per disc. However, unlike amazon.com, the foreign amazon sites will give you lower shipping costs for combined purchases. My total cost from amazon.uk for the five sets including shipping would be $184.30. But, if I were to place the exact same order with amazon.fr it would cost me $165.75 including shipping.
