Dan Gould
I used this track on a BFT. A lot of people missed it, iirc. And if you never heard, Aric, Hank's presence on this Montoliu session was like a "tryout" to determine if Steeplechase would be willing to give him his own date as a leader. "Autumn Leaves" was the only track deemed worthy of release, and that came only in the CD age.
Chuck Nessa
Hank was recorded at the end of the session. He also recorded a version of Early Morning Stroll. I've heard all the takes, but memory fades. I think he did 2 of each tune.
J.A.W.
The name is Tete Montoliu, and it's "for all intents and purposes". Edited February 21, 2010 by J.A.W.
Dave James
The name is Tete Montoliu, and it's "for all intents and purposes". An old girlfriend of mine thought a chest of drawers was a chester drawers. She also though the game of chess was chest. Not my finest hour. Interestingly enough, she graduated from law school with honors and now writes and edits legal texts for law school instruction.

With hearing like that I'll bet she was an old girlfriend ! You watch a lot of Golden Girls re-runs Dave ?

brownie
Hank Mobley's swan song. This version should have retained Josef Kosma and Jacques Prévert's original title in french 'Les Feuilles Mortes' (Dead Leaves).

Sounds like she was more than a little chesty.
