Shepik’s most recent release, Drip, with the Brad Shepik Trio, was featured on NPR’s All Things Considered, which called the record, “Classic, but also defiant and new – the jazz guitar record you’ve been missing forever.” Tickets are $13 for the general public and $10 for UICA members. Are you free to go Jim? Skid? Anyone? Quote
Uncle Skid Posted December 4, 2003 Report Posted December 4, 2003 I'm free, and that sounds great! I see you guys are playing there on Jan 23, also. I'll check with the boss, and send you a PM. Thanks! -- Mark Quote
Chuck Nessa Posted December 4, 2003 Report Posted December 4, 2003 Strange coincidence - my wife and I will be at UICA earlier in the evening for another event. Quote
Joe G Posted December 4, 2003 Author Report Posted December 4, 2003 That is strange! How much earlier? Quote
Chuck Nessa Posted December 4, 2003 Report Posted December 4, 2003 UICA's annual Holiday Artist's Market is taking place from 5 'til 9. My wife is a potter and a couple of her friends will be selling stuff there. Last year we ran into Lazaro and family at the event. Quote
Joe G Posted December 4, 2003 Author Report Posted December 4, 2003 It would be nice to meet you and your wife. I'm not sure how we'd coordinate that, but I'm sure something could be figured out if you're up for it. Quote
Chuck Nessa Posted December 4, 2003 Report Posted December 4, 2003 That would be good. We may be there 'til late (9:00). Quote
Jim Alfredson Posted December 4, 2003 Report Posted December 4, 2003 I am playing Billy's that night with the Grand River Blue Cats so I cannot attend. But it would be fun! I wish I could get up to the pottery sale with the wifey... we LOVE handmade pottery. She's actually taken a pottery class but had to pass on it this year. Quote
