slide_advantage_redoux
Do yourself a favor and get rid of your turntables. WHY? All of us have CD players, probably audio-tape players, sound-systems for our computers with downloaded music AND I-Pods. And yet, there are still collections of fine music, even rare music available only on vinyl. YOU do yourself a favour and get a nice turntable. Well put Patricia! I am always hearing about people who have copied all their vinyl onto CDs and then sold the records. One day they will regret it, because CDs are not going to last. And when they were out, no music. Vinyl forever. Edited June 24, 2006 by slide_advantage_redoux

porcy62
probably nostalgia, but London Calling by the Clash. yes, the vinyl is crappy, but somehow that adds to the drive of the music go figure Hey, a first UK pressing of London Calling IS London Calling. The remastered cd sounds crappy.
