As the title track of the record implies, Reptet are determined to take a rocket ship into out space - and all danger aside, it would appear many are gleefully going along for the ride. Reptet’s previous CD releases, Do This! (Monktail, 2006) and Chicken or Beef? (Monktail, 2008) gained world-wide recognition and led to the group's subsequent national and international tours. more about AGENDACIDE Agendacide was released as a digital download and 7” red vinyl record, accompanied by stun-ning cover art by the late great jazz illustrator, Jim Flora, in October 2009. It was produced by Reptet and features a guest appearance by the renowned composer/keyboardist Wayne Horvitz on Hammond organ. Recorded in January of 2009 by Doug Haire (Leslie Dalaba, Wally Shoup) at Jack Straw Productions in Seattle. Overdubs, mixing and mastering were done by Mell Dettmer (Eyvind Kang, Mr. Bungle, Skerik’s Syncopated Taint) at Alpha Studios and Sinis-ter Kitchen, Seattle.
