Sonny Rollins Prestige box

I've not heard of this site before but they seem to have the Sonny Rollins Prestige box for 23 euros.

It was "sold out" at a slighly higher price a few years ago when ZYX lost their distribution deal - I like this box, as it completes some sessions and assembles material originally spread over many more CDs. In such a case I prefer to have it in session order.

I have a good hunk of the Sonny OJCs and have avoided this box because a) I have a lot of the stuff anyways and might as well just finish buying the OJCs and b) I like the individual CDs for him anyways.

BUT is there anything on the box that I can't get from the individual OJCs? Any of the early 50s sessions?

I'm not sure ... for me it was a no-brainer as I had avoided the OJC reissues due to their short playing time.

IMHO, this is one of the great jazz boxes. The presentation is thoughtful, the graphics are great, and the booklet is sublime. There's a great, long interview with Sonny, and he discusses this period in depth. At the right price, you should buy the box just for the booklet.
