I'm not the primary breadwinner in the household (I'm a reformed river guide after all, barely fit for real work) and we are doing fine all things considered, especially compared to many right now. And I have some prospects- with agency cutbacks there seems to be a need for natural resource technical writers who are "cheap dates", and don't require payment of benefits other than a check. But my discretionary spending on box sets may be attenuated, at least in the near term.. Quote
