that's not good. It seems from the clientele the man who is replacing Lundvall has worked with, he has little experience with jazz.

But that's immaterial, it seems, as the story says "The label also tastefully broadened its music pallet beyond jazz to include such acclaimed artists as Priscilla Ahn, Anita Baker, Al Green, Amos Lee, Willie Nelson, Kristina Train and the bird and the bee."

That's the direction the label is going -- how long can they pump out jazz reissues to people who already have them?

That's quite a stint he had as Chairman. Didn't he come in arround the time that the Pathe Marconi/Manhattan vinyl reissues started appearing (along with new releases by OOTB, Bennie Wallace etc) and the 'One Night With Blue Note' tribute concert was held in NYC?

yes, he did. He has a true love of the music which allowed BN to do things for people like us after Norah Jones hit it big. They probably have introduced Al Green to a younger audience too, especially since ?uestlove produced "Lay it Down".
