Jim Alfredson Posted December 25, 2009 Report Posted December 25, 2009 Merry Christmas, everyone! Thanks for making this THE place to hang out and talk about jazz, be it real or imaginary! Quote
The Magnificent Goldberg Posted December 25, 2009 Report Posted December 25, 2009 Well, it's a bright and sunny Christmas morning here and we're waiting for my daughter and family (together with her mother-in-law's dog from hell) to arrive in about an hour, if they can struggle through the snow and ice that hasn't gone yet. We haven't opened our presents yet. Waiting for them. Happy Christmas to everyone! MG Quote
Jim Alfredson Posted December 25, 2009 Report Posted December 25, 2009 Christmas with young children. Zora was in our room at 5:30am. Better than last year when she came in at 3am upset because she had already broken one of her toys. I was up until 2am backing pies. I'm a bit baked myself. Is this what's known as payback? Quote
BERIGAN Posted December 25, 2009 Report Posted December 25, 2009 (edited) Christmas with young children. Zora was in our room at 5:30am. I shutter to think what I will be punished with! Oops, forgot if you post twice in a minute, it turns into one post. Anyway, thought this was cute. Free For All Posted December 25, 2009 Report Posted December 25, 2009 I was up until 2am backing pies. I like to use velcro. But flannel is nice too. Quote
Stefan Wood Posted December 25, 2009 Report Posted December 25, 2009 Merry Christmas everyone! Celebrating the holiday with my girlfriend and folks down here in Williamsburg VA. Quote
7/4 Posted December 25, 2009 Report Posted December 25, 2009 Merry Christmas everyone! I'm kinda working today, I'm on call, so I'll at least get a few double time hours in later. It's great to be working again! I just had lunch/dinner with my parents and then I'm staying close to the phone in case it rings. Quote
JSngry Posted December 25, 2009 Report Posted December 25, 2009 May the basic human instincts of peace, hope, and joy found in the Christmas story prove to be real and meaningful to all as our lives progress. Quote
Peter Johnson Posted December 25, 2009 Report Posted December 25, 2009 What Jim Sangrey said. In the meantime: the lamb is roasting; Blakey is on the stereo; Laura (and 8.5 month old zygote--OH MY GOD (not that I'm terrified!)) are chilling with Luke the labrador in the glow of the tree. Life couldn't possibly get any better. All the best to all of you. Quote
mikeweil Posted December 25, 2009 Report Posted December 25, 2009 Sorry for being late, I wish all of you best you can have for Christmas, peaceful days, and once again a gigantic thanks to Jim for running this great place! Quote
