Newport in NY '72 3 CD set

I saw a 3 CD set on Amazon of the Newport in NY '72 album with everything minus the Soul Sessions. I had one of the "Best Of's" on vinyl and wonder if this 3 disc set is transferred from the master tapes (if they exist?) or vinyl. Some of the performances are sloppy, but theres a lot of fun soloing going on too.

I would wager. . . from vinyl, as it's from an Andorran label, the usual bootleg needle-droppers.

This material had a domestic CD release many years ago, so it has been available.

The LPs appeared on a blog earlier this year, so when I later saw that an Andorran release was coming out, I wondered whether it was lifted from those blog rips.

Sorry this has taken so long to reply. Turns out the CD's I have are not domestic, but from England, the "Sequel" label, 1993. (But I think they weren't hard too find, I probably got them at Tower.) There were 2 CD's worth covering most of the albums that were originally released on (I think) "Buddah." There was a third CD, covering the "Soul Sessions."
