Son-of-a-Weizen Posted April 11, 2010 Report Posted April 11, 2010 Once again, I disagree. There is far too much emphasis being placed upon Tiger's sex life and with very little justification beyond the fact he is in the public eye as a professional golfer. What I am saying is that is a bullshit smokescreen to hide either jealousy or a deranged sense of morality or even bigotry. Look, if you guys want to believe peaking inside a person's windows is justifiable voyeurism, then have a blast. I think this crap is completely depraved and only serves the lowest common denominator of lust for dirt on another human being...or, more to the point, a successful Black Man. Basically, I'm calling you to task. Right here, right now. I could care less who Tiger Woods, or any other celebrity is boinking or whatever. But the idea that he is catching this shit because of his race takes a willful ignorance that I can't fathom. The idea that only successful black men face this amazes me. This is what celebrity is. If you don't want to deal with the chickenshit, pass on the fame. That about sums it up, Moose. Goodspeak, time to stop banging the racial drum. We've drifted into PersonalAttacksVille, so the next shot fired brings the

thelbc Posted April 11, 2010 Report Posted April 11, 2010 This thread is just too good...LMAO [ Give me a recent example of the same dirt digging media frenzy surrounding a White athlete. Can you? Fuzzy, thanks to the spoiled prick WOODS.
Jazzmoose Posted April 11, 2010 Report Posted April 11, 2010 Give me a recent example of the same dirt digging media frenzy surrounding a White athlete. Can you? Apparently you haven't noticed that Tiger Woods is not just an athlete. He's a C*E*L*E*B*R*I*T*Y. If you want examples of others who face this crap, there's probably a good display at the checkout stand at your local supermarket.
Dave James Posted April 11, 2010 Author Report Posted April 11, 2010 Give me a recent example of the same dirt digging media frenzy surrounding a White athlete. Can you? In this century. How about Ben Roethlisberger? How about Marv Albert? The Duke Lacrosse team. Or, if you will allow Latinos into the argument, Alex Rodriquez or Diego Maradona? Also, don't forget that the higher the profile, the more negative attention an athlete will attract, Kobe Bryant being another good example. Also, if the person in the crosshairs happens to be someone who has deliberately cultivated a squeaky clean image, all the more so. One last thought. As much as you would like Tiger Woods to be a "Black Person", he is not.
thelbc Posted April 11, 2010 Report Posted April 11, 2010 Frankly, GoodSpeak seems a bit creepy to me and my daughters who have read this thread.
