I see an advertisement on page 24 of the January 15, 1967 Detroit Free Press that confirms the lineup mentioned by aj lacourse: Sarah Vaughn, Dave Brubeck, Modern Jazz Quartet, John Coltrane, Thelonious Monk, Clark Terry & J.J. Johnson.

Those were some halcyon days in music, to be sure.  And to think that I was just a couple of miles away and didn't make it (but I was also 7, and thus completely oblivious).  Although I do remember what I was doing on that date, because that was the same day as the first Super Bowl.
