patricia Posted November 30, 2003 Report Posted November 30, 2003 The same thing happened to me when someone, years ago, pronounced awry, "AWREE". Ever since then, I have to correct myself when I read it, even though I know how to pronounce it, of course. A mental block to play with til I die.
